Aviation & Flying

Gerry and the Grob

Concorde

Not a home built but the last Concorde flying coming home to Filton, Nr Bristol on the last ever flight. This was a great but sad day for us in Bristol where this aircraft was made.  A number of the people who worked on the production of this aircraft were there to see it come home.

The Grob Motorglider registration GTOPK with Gerry Holland, pilot of GFIZY a Europa home built. Below: A Vans RV-6 a very high performance home built aircraft

Aviation and flying have been a great interest for a number of years and here you see my good friend and collegue, Gerry Holland about to talk to the owner of the very nice motor glider GTOPK at a recent LAA Rally at Kemble Airfield.

There were a large number of aircraft, mainly home-built at the Rally which, as you can tell from the state of the sky behind the aircraft, is held in the summer!
